Native Colorado cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, brown trout and brook trout abound in our local waters
At Circle K Ranch we specialize in high country native trout fishing
on remote and secluded mountain streams. Our most popular trips combine
horseback riding and fly fishing, enabling you to reach trout fishing waters with
significantly lower pressure from other anglers. If your desire is to
fish virgin waters that rarely see other fishermen, our overnight
horseback trips are the perfect fly fishing pack trip choice for you. We also offer more
traditional, wade only fly fishing trips, on the upper and lower sections of the
Dolores River as well as the San Miguel River (Telluride area). Full day
and half day trips are available.
Trout Magazine rated the Dolores River in southwest Colorado as one of the best
100 trout streams in America. The upper waters of the Dolores River provide ample
opportunity for catching rainbows, brook trout and the colorful Colorado
Cutthroat trout. The lower waters of the Dolores River offer excellent tail water fishing for large brown trout, rainbow trout and cutthroats. Circle K Guest Ranch offers a variety of different fly fishing trip packages designed for both the novice and experienced angler.
